First, Prev, My Rubik Cube Solution
By now, you should have the first and second layers of your rubik cube resolved. The picture below shows the 2 layers. The white color at the top of the cube is the fully resolved color. The yellow color is the unresolved layer at the bottom (not shown in the picture below).
Flip over the rubic cube so that the completed side (white side) is at the bottom. The rubik cube looks like this.
The steps to complete the last layers are
- Construct a cross pattern at the last layer (the yellow side)
- Position the corners correctly at the last layer
- Make all the 9 squares the same color at the last layer
- Completely resolve the rubik cube
The objective of this step is to construct a cross pattern as indicated in the picture below.
If you already have the cross pattern, proceed to next step straight away. Otherwise, you probably have one of the followings. Perform the sequences beside the diagram with the blue side facing you.
The pictures below show some examples of correctly placed corners. Noticed that although the 3 colors at the corners are not facing the correct side, but the corners are placed correctly at the right corners.
The blue side is facing you.
By now, you should have one of the folloinwgs.
