Mei Yu has bought a EeePC 901. I have to admit this is my dream portable notebook. With Windows XP installed, everthing is so familiar and usable. No more stripped down software with crippled functions.
In fact this post is created using that notebook.
The only complain is probably the tiny keyboard. Other the keys are too close to each other, the keys layout for keys like DEL, INS, PgUp, PgDn are at odd positions. Some even need to press and hold with the Fn.
I am quite surprised that this is a 1.6 GHz machine.
There are 2 disks in it.
There is a built in 1.3M pixel camera. On the left side of the notebook, there is a LAN port, a USB port, a mic jack, a headset jack. On the right side of the notebook, there is a disport port and 2 USB port, a SD card reader.
I remembered the first version of EeePC is using AA size battery, but this one is using a rechargeable battery similar to other notebooks.
